The annual
Tamaskan Dog Show 2009 in aid of Tamaskan Rescue UK was a great
success, we managed to raise approx £120

The Rescue is a
non-profit organization and exists to:
-
Find
homes for every Tamaskan who is in need of one
-
Care for Tamaskan
when owners are unable to
-
Raise
funds for veterinary fees, kenneling and foster care
-
Educate the public about the importance of pet identification
and the serious risks of dog theft in the UK
-
Ensure the welfare of Tamaskan dogs worldwide.
-
Provide information on training, diet and health
Since the Tamaskan has
risen in popularity in the UK we feel that we should be fully
prepared for dogs who may need to be re-homed.
Unfortunately this is a
small home run rescue facility and we can only re-home Tamaskan Dogs
and not dogs that look like Tamaskan. For Husky rescue please visit
The Siberian Husky Welfare
Association
We do not hold a waiting
list but every dog in need of re-homing will be listed on our
re-homing page.

This young Tamaskan came to us after his owner
became ill. He is now being cared for until his owner can return to
claim him

2 year old Meesha was given up by her owners because of a change in
circumstances.
Meesha has now been happily re-homed with Carron River owner Fiona.
5
year old Luna was rescued from a puppy mill and came to live with us
in 2008. She suffered with separation anxiety and skin disorders.
A year
later she is finally recovered enough to find a loving home in
Surrey.
Important Notice
Tamaskan Rescue UK does not sell dogs.
We ask for a £50 donation to go towards rescuing future Tamaskan
dogs, we rely
purely on donations to help save lives, re-home dogs and reunite owners with their
dogs. Please consider donating to us.
